Verizon InPulse

First established as Bell Atlantic Corporation until its merger with GTE in 2000, Verizon Communications has become one of the largest telecommunications company in the United States with more than 80 million subscribers. The network’s wireless service provides voice and data transmission as well as mobile equipment sales to both postpaid and prepaid customers all over the country.

Compared to other mobile service providers, Verizon Wireless has won subscribers with its winning reputation of having the lowest incidents of dropped calls, hence its best-known “can you hear me now” ad phrase.

Today, Verizon Inpulse pay-as-you-go extends Verizon’s service to customers who prefer prepaid plans—call and text bundles that closely reflect their mobile phone usage without continuous commitments, yearly contracts, and fat bills that oftentimes send customers into disarray.

What sets Verizon Inpulse apart from other prepaid service providers is that any unused minute are carried forward as long as subscribers top-up their Inpulse prepaid account before the previous balance expires. Verizon Inpulse refills can be purchased through Babblebug.com using a credit card, debit card, or Paypal.  Also, 3-way calling, call forwarding, caller ID, and call waiting are included in all Verizon prepaid bundles.

Besides providing postpaid mobile phones, Verizon now offers prepaid phones with download options such as games, ringtones, and applications for all Verizon-approved prepaid handsets.

In terms of prepaid rates, many customers consider Verizon’s daily access fee too expensive. This fee however, is charged only on days when prepaid users use their mobile handsets and it may range from $0.99 to $3.99 per day depending on the prepaid plan. Despite having to pay a daily fee, one cannot deny the superb call quality and seamless text messaging and data downloads the mobile network provides.
